Bicycle Oblique Crunches

The obliques are next to your abs on either side, they are used for twisting the torso and rotation movements.

Step 1:Lie with your back on the floor and your hands behind your head and your knees in the air.

Step 2: Lift and twist one shoulder off the floor and bring your elbow in front of your face, simultaneously bring the opposite knee to your elbow. Exhale during this movement.

Step 3: Inhale while bringing yourself back to the starting position, repeat the oblique crunch with the other elbow and knee.

Step 4: Perform as many reps as possible.

Beginners: Can rest their legs on a bench or other stable surface, moving only the upper body.

Experienced readers: Can hold for a few seconds at the top of the rep, slow down the speed of the twist movements.
